yesterday

while on his way home, bryan bumped into a close friend in the walkway from SM leading to glorietta.

bryan was not in his best but he was feeling quite better this day. so he was surprised when a close friend told him:

"... uuuyy, anong nangyari sa'yo? bakit ganyan itsura mo?"

so bryan gave reasons on how he was now focused on work for the worsening dark circles around his eyes.

"pinapabayaan mo na sarili mo..."

bryan did not take any offense at all. it's just that, he was disappointed with himself because he was really trying to be better. it disappointed him because the smile and the happy demeanor, after all, do not do any good. he was disappointed with himself because what he feels inside is still manifesting on the physical level.

while on his commute - minutes after saying goodbye to his close friend - bryan could not stop thinking about it. he was well deep into his thoughts that it was bordering obsession.

now all bryan wants to do is stay home and watch dvd's.
