the lion the witch and the two jerks

the lion, the witch and the two jerks

i was all so lazy to post this but.

the wednesday group again watched narnia. hehe. i was all ready to rush to the moviehouse on the first screening date but alas, our hunger got hold of us first. we ate at teriyaki boy and the when we got to g4 people were already lined up from the entrance going roung starbuck then way back beside burger king.

so wednesday, as usual, jen, abner, krizka, yuri and i trekked to g4 to watch it. the ticket was kinda steep for our normal movie days but it was narnia and it was guaranteed seats so i won't complain. we were there around 5ish but the movie starts at 7. so that means, there's more timezone time for us kids. hehe. we played virtua tennis for the umpteenth time and the new addicting game of dream spotter. or whatever it's called - it's just a simple spot the difference. and for the first time also, after running out of credits and watching koreans and other asian foreigners bash their hands on this machine, we played bishibashi. again, i'm not sure if that's really that thing's name. hehe. AND after yuri found many free two games ticket that were scattered on the floor, i vented all my emotions on this bash-humpty-dumpty-with-a-ball. after it, my arms strained because of too much exertion. haha. now, that means i have to get my ass off of my daily routine to stretch some muscles now. so anyway, after timezone, we went down and ate again at our suki tender bob's. they knew us very well that they give us almost twice the normal servings. and would you believe i was still hungry after that meal. we smoked in starbucks and went straight inside the movie after. oh wait, i still bought frosty from wendy's before going in.

so we were inside the moviehouse and we were surprised to find someone sitting on our seats. we asked them if the seats were theirs. they said yes. and we asked for their ticket because we have L19-L23. those two jerks would not even show us their ticket and they wouldn't even nudge! i was so disgusted with the way they acted so i somewhat sarcastically politely asked them what their seat numbers were. one of them said "ah hinde sige pare kunin niyo na to, lilipat nalang kami" oh my gulay! the audacity of those jerks! and second of all, we are not getting those seats from you becase it was reserved to us in the first place! and as if they already knew what happened, they transferred behind us. good thing that the owners of the seats came and again the same story. oh those jerks.

well anyway, narnia. i have to say that i liked narnia better than harry potter 4. i don't know. maybe i'm just biased because i have read all of harry potter's and hp4 is my favorite and i found hp4 the movie too fast. and i haven't read narina yet. so anyway, it was great! i like the story very much. i just thought that they should have gone back when they're all dying so they could continue being kings and queens. haha. i like peter's and lucy's characters. peter is a struggling man trying to become a responsible and mature brother to his siblings. lucy, on the other hand, is so adorable and witty at the same time. the dagger thing was funny. susan and edmund are just the character you love to sorta hate. susan overanalyzes things and is always miss know-it-all. edmund is always defying his brother and tries to get things his way. that's irritating. if i was peter, i would have slapped him, punched him, pushed him and call him names after he got back from the witch. but then being peter would be no use at all if i did that, wouldn't it? hahaha.
aslan reminds me of simba, the witch of cate blanchet in LOTR (which by the way i watched again and fell in love again and wanna read the book again).

oh by the way, did i tell you that i'm typing this post at 7 in the morning because i can't sleep? so now i'm sleepy and i should hit the sack already.

ciao!
