it was zambales time for the holy week. finally. another much needed vacation from 3 days of work. haha. so here's a few pics. more to follow when macky returns my memory card reader. hmmm. shout out to macky!!! lol.

we were so tired when we got there we just decided to take pictures and lay on the beach till the sun set. ate, got a little drunk and "partied" till the early morning (photos coming soon). when we got back to the cottage, we had no where to sleep so we decided to put up tents and camp out on the beach.
2nd day

after camping out on the beach while all the other revelers are busy singing their hearts out in the numerous videoke machines that dot the beach until the wee hours of the morning, we woke up with aching bodies because of the irregular levels of sand on our backs and the constant biting of unknown insects and/or tiny crustaceans. we then grabbed something for breakfast and immediately hit the beach.
level na rin ang iba, pala. they were already offering banana-boat rides. one of my cousins asked them how much it would cost and the boat man answered with a very surprising and kilay-raising cost of 3,000 pesos. punyeta. nilagpasan ang level ng boracay! ok lang kayo manong?! so we decided not to do it anymore and just enjoy ourselves with the semi-ritual of the boat ride slash (dead) coral trip.

we were trying to do the floating shadow thing (will be posted soon) that we did the day before with my cam but it ran out of batteries and we just had to settle for another cam which did the photo above. funny how we were so giddy we looked like excited little children. look at tita madette, LOL. she could be the easter bunny haha.
that night, we went to the san mig concert slash party again. well, that's the only "night life" available for us other than the usually tiring videoke and inuman sessions at the cottage. so we walked the seemingly 524,654 miles of beach just to get there. sakit sa paa.

3rd day
final day
final day to get a tan and to experience the beach. and finally we got to do the banana-boat ride for a more than half the price of the original 3k. lol. i think they were so desperate in earning already that they settled for 12 persons, 2 trips for only 700. lol. hay, pinoy.

honestly, i was really not in the mood to go to zambales for two reasons. first, i will miss yuri this year. second, i want to do some nature tripping/adventure. the first reason i cannot do anything about it. the second, we were supposed to do it already with an officemate and some of my friends. unfortunately, it didn't push through. boohoo.
