the day was spent at home. it was relaxing because i got a full body massage. by the way

posing for a pic this early in the morning really didn't make me happy

by afternoon, we headed for the beach.

by night time, i was able to capture a lizard eating a dragonfly which was almost twice his size.

i played with my new toy and produced lots of pictures of the beach, the rocks and my cousins in a short span of time. good thing jamie brought his laptop with him and i was able to upload all my pictures even before my memory card became full.

february 1

we went to the livestock auction about 20 kilometers away from the city. the place was like taken straight out of discovery's lonely planet.


the place was a market-ful of people haggling for prices with tiny notebooks and pens. some were dragging their animals up for barter or sale and some were like us, just speculating and watching things. finally we got the pig and headed home.

we headed home after the pig thing. went to the cemetery afterwards.

then we went to the mall to get a rack for the glasses. then headed back home again to change for the gimmick night... with parents.

the band was playing loud that night when suddenly NO LIGHTS! blackout throughout the city. or just the boulevard i guess. time for some vanity pictures by the candle.

funny thing about this picture. ari ordered (i hope i had not known) a margarita and some cocktail. (his mother, tita guing, was so bent on not letting ari drink something alcoholic that night) then after that, he ordered water. he placed the calamansi in the water intentionally. then i took this picture. and tita guing thought that ari was drinking!(which was partly true) and she gave us all a lecture about ari drinking the night after. hahahahahaha!

anyway i'll just be posting two days of my vacation at a time. i don't have the determination to create 4 accounts of photobuckets for just one post.

so i'm back. i don't ever think that my fingers could move as fast as my mind can recall the things that has happenned these past weeks. so i'm doing my fingers a favor. i'm posting chronologically. maybe even bulleted haha.
plus the fact that i'm still in vacation mode right now. i still can't believe that my vacation in dumaguete is over and i'm back here in manila. back to the normalcies of my life. darn.

january 26

mom and jamie arrived in manila. yuri and i picked them up at the airport and proceeded straight to the hotel. tita dang and tito toto were there with phoebe and anlo. tita dolly followed too after work. went home at around 4 in the morning.

yeah i played with the camera and did this like so many other amateurs would do

tita guing arrived. met them at the hotel. same room. i forgot what else happenned on that day.

january 28

graduation day. not that special really. we just had to endure (700)600 plus names being called on stage. good thing there was only one honorary doctorate degree given on our graduation. ate together with jen's and yuri's family at the aristocrat for lunch. then at luk foo for dinner.

phoebe, yuri and i left too for dumaguete. had the most wonderful arrival ever. as soon as i stepped on the tarmac, i took in all the air that my lungs could take. "finally..."
